This is George T. Lewis Airfield in Cedar Key Florida. A friend of mine sent me some really nice pics to go by and I also used satellite images as well. Thanks to Kobbe for making the island the right size and shape and allowing me to use some of his hangar objects. This will be freeware when I release it along with 1 or 2 other Gulf Coast island airfields. (one being Dauphin Island AL.) Enjoy the preview shots. ;D

Having been involved in an earlier version of Cedar Key, I am really looking forward to this one.

Thanks Tom. I tried to keep it as true as possible with the images I had to work with. I think it is fairly close. The AFCAD (and the buildings layout etc.) is really close since I used a sat image. All those trees took the longest to plant but I wanted to do them one-by-one to get a nice variety in shape, size and color.

Great looking scenery, I do a lot of my flying around the Gulf Coast so I'll be downloading that one when it is released.

Beautiful scenery Keith, will it work in FSX. It "works" but not everything. It was created for FS9 so I can't promise anything. Converting FS9 scenery for FSX is still a bit of a up-in-the-air issue.

Looks Great Keith!
I like the fine detail i.e., signs and grass and water front area......Makes me want to reload FS9, but wait, I can add this area to my system now and dream of flying in a time warp again!!!! It's just a jump to the ri......ri.....RIGHT and a hop to the leffffffffft!.
Jusk kidding, Great Scenery!

Nice! time for dive fishing. BTEw Captain, what envmap you have there? those planes reflections are really interesting. The one I am using is a custom one I made myself to deepen the blue sky and darken the ground, however this is one that is very good as well. I like a little less of a reflection on the aircraft so my custom one is not a reflective. But, this one here is a very good one: www.screenshotart.com/index.php?download=409

Very nice Keith, very immersive. One remark, please make it compatible with UT. It's such a pity that your very nice Sandpit scenery still, isn't comptible with UTCAN/AK
Thanks, Rob

Rob,
Sometimes scenery developers wish UT would make their products compatible with our stuff. ;D UT is nice but sometimes they make it almost impossible to get scenery addons to work correctly with it.
