Back in GW98 I formed the School of Quick & Dirty Scenery Design. Using that method, Art Nichols and I built about 60 airports for FS98/GW98 and distributed them through The Old Hangar... Well here we are again, GW3 for FS9, and all new Old Hangar and the Quick & Dirty School of design has reopened. Get your tutorials here. (But remember, they are quick & dirty. You won't be learning to do GeoRender!) www.theoldhangar.com/Q&D_1.zipwww.theoldhangar.com/Q&D_2.zip and if you've got something to add... let me know.

Hello Tom, Yes.... I remember very well those wonderful sceneries..... I think I had everyone. I just downloaded and read through your Q&D Tutorials and I do believe even I can figure this out!....... very nicely written. Too late to start this evening but I'm anxious to give it a go. Best wishes, Steve R.

Thanks for the tutorials. I notice that in FS9/GW3, the airport where I learned to fly is in a bowl, whereas in fact it was on a salt flat (emphesis on FLAT). Is there a quick and easy way to address that?
Thanks again, jim

Dear Tom I think it is good to add Main state's two footers narrow gauge railroad , it would change the impression of Main states scenery.
Regards, Jun

Yes Tom I know Golden Wing just start now, no need in haste. If I could help you....... I like SR & RL RR www.srrl-rr.org/, and its rail truck would be helpful to fly another town. I have heard there is many place to fishing salmon......suitable for bush flying.

Hi Tom First off Congratulations on a wonderful addition to Flight sim to "The Gang: I have got everything up and running. I tried last night to add FSE to the FSGW site , but it won't do it unless I remove it frm FS9, I wanted to use this for some of the really fine objects that are available now for this period in time . also for the sounds that can be had for the era as well as other sounds. My question is ! Is there a way to add it as well as leaving it in the FS9 original? I have all of Bills API's or macro's that he supplied with the scenery , it would be nice to have a photo reference of the api's to see what in fact they are. Is this possible?... Regards Bill Dick

Regards Bill Dick Just drag all the lago folder over to FSGW and you should be fine for all Lago addons RE: Reference pics, we don't have any yet. Perhaps some enterprising member with some spare time can do that.

This didn't work (dragging LAGO into FSGW) Thanks for looking into this Bill. I also Have found another problem! I used Airport for windows 260 to try to build an airport or to just improve an exsisting one. I went through the same order as I would normaly do to build a scenery. I can't seem to see where I have put the runways to take a top down photo to place the scenery's objects where i would like them. You who do scenery's know what Ii am saying. I went to the FS9 original and added the scenery I have just made, it shows up there??? So I took the scenery file and added it as I would any scenery in FSGWS still not visable . Either Tom or Bill could help me with this...Please

I don't have any other ideas on the Lago problem. Maybe someone else will have an answer. I think Kofi has them installed. I changed all my directories in Airport preferences to point to FSGW and have had no problem. Be sure your grid size didn't change. Mine keeps going to 1000 meters and i want it at 256. Also it keeps changing from North to South. I've used this program since mid '98 but I am beginning to hate it Bill has posted the pictures of the APIs in this thread: mainescenery.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=gold&action=display&thread=1125578785

Howdy willyb,
For the Lago FSE install to work in a second copy of FS9, you also need to copy over ViMaCore2004.dll (and ViMaIsc.dll, although I suspect that particular file is an Emma Field .dll) found in your Modules folder, as well as the Vistamare folder found in you original FS9 install.

I have the same problem seeing FSE objects (I can hear the sounds). I tried caphavoc's suggestion with no success. Any other ideas?
