I believe the answer is to look in your regedit and see where Lago registered itself . Mine was set to run with FS9 , I did an edit and told it where FSGW is and everything is OK I got mine to work!!!. the other thing is to uninstall it (lago) and re-install to FSGW3 or wherever you have it. I then went to where the original is and did the same thing, I believe they are both working now. I found the same with other programs like FS Paint and Active Camera etc. Hope this helps

Hi there, ive been looking over the Q&D tutorials for scenery creation, and ive got a few projects i'd like to try but i have a few questions i'd like to ask, firstly, im a die hard FSSC man,can find my way around it blindfolded, but the tutorial is for Airport, does it matter what scenery program to use or is there an advantage in using Airport. also how would i find out about loseing the stock objects, hangers, control towers ect in an airfield i was remaking. cheers ian

FSSC has (I think) all the same capabiliies

I use both - the only thing Airport has that FSSC doesn't (as far as I can tell) is the ability to link to FS and get the plane's position. The new version of Airport called SceneGenX will place FS9 library objects (xml) as well as more traditional macros.
The 'Rolls Royce' designer as far as I am concerned is Sbuilder - creates mesh, landclass, excludes, flattens, roads, rivers etc as well as placing library objects, macros and Runway 12 objects (which are complied xml objects I think). It also allows positioning by linking to FS and it is free for non commercial use. I have switched to it from FSSC myself.

Agreed, SBuilder looks great. I just lack the time to study it at the moment

I know what you mean Tom - I have had three or four failed attempts but I think I have gotten over the learning curve at last

Where can I find Airport (as referenced in Tom's 2nd tutorial)? I've tried searching the usual sites but "airport" has too many hits I realize the discussion has gone towards Sbuilder, but I just dl'd a scenery that requires some of Airport's textures... right now I have a modern art sculpture garden instead of trees

Tom, Thanks much for the "Q & D" . I am keeping FS9 in addition to the new separate FSGW3 which is where I want to shorten and unstripe some runways but I cannot find a way to direct afcad towards FSGW3. It defaults to FS9. What am I missing on how to steer the thing into FSGW3?
Thanks Much

If you need to work more on one later you can use the "open specific file"
