Hi, Thanks for those, Roger! They look great! I guess I should put that link in a thread that actually has "B-36" in the title. My textures in the above screeshots for the Ellsworth RB-36H are available "exclusively", here: www.members2.rushmore.com/~alyot/blackhawk/RB-36H.zipFor the moment, this paint is FS9 only.[3/14/2008 Edit: I've removed all the other textures that I didn't modify, so this is now FS9/FSX compliant. If you downloaded this before this date, or haven't fixed it yourself, please get the new revised package above.] Roger, is that what Edwards AFB looks like in FSX? Yours,

Yours, Randy, Until December last year I couldn't even see through the glass of the FsX demo so I know what it's like That is what Edwards looks like in FsX/Acceleration(SP2). They really souped it up and in another thread here you'll see that there's a free download from TTC that makes it even more interesting ;D

Hi, I fixed the texture set for my RB-36H Ellsworth paint to comply to new FS2004/FSX model and texture set. If you got it before today, or haven't fixed it for yourself, it's now compliant for both sets. Just copy a new complete set of the textures, then overwrite the 4 that I repainted. Oh, if you got the B-36 from the old Alpha Sim sight and forum, they do have a backdoor to get the new models. I just found that out yesterday. I have the new one now...as seen in Roger's screenshots ..it's a dream in FS9, too! ;D Yours,

Great shots, Roger!
I've had the B-36 (FS9) for sometime now and still enjoy flying it - reminds of the '50s, growing up, Jimmy Stewart in the movie "Strategic Air Command ", and all those exciting big and fast planes of those times.
The best thing about the Alphasim model is the sound - just great to listen to those six big props and that low low hum the plane had! ;D
Dan
…it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Alphasim are offering the B36C model as a free bonus to present owners. The C lacks the outboard jet engines. Just redownload from your previous purchase links.

Greetings all, If you downloaded the FS9 update for the B-36 C B before the time and date of my posting here, you should go back and get the new "repaired" download. Tommy and I found 2 textures (1 missing and the other in the wrong format) that caused a crash to desktop in FS9..on my machine, anyway.)..and failure of the " C" " B" version to load on other machines. As of a few minutes ago, Phil over at AlphaSim repaired the download, so all is well now! ;D You can see the details in the Tech support thread at AlphaSim.' Edit: Just a LITTLE problem with the "C"....it's a B. The oversight has been noticed and corrected at Alphasim. You might want to make the correction in whatever flight notes or addon textures you may have downloaded...not to the texture names, but to the text. The little problem was in the Convair C model, the props were in FRONT of the wing. I couldn't find any pictures of a true C model either. With so many test variants, it's an easy mistake to make, but ...uhm..oops. Not many C models were built and the contract was later cancelled alltogether. Yours,
