.... And you never forget your first love, do you... No, you certainly don't. Mine was the CAC Sabre (F-86). Bruce

My first love - the T-33 - trainer version of the F-80-Shooting Star with the large wing tip tanks. I remember it back in the '50s as a kid and I remember flying it back in '07 as an elder of sorts. Beautiful shots, Rollerball - great cloud formations & color! The second one looks incredibly alive . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

There are two military jets that stick out in my childhood memories. First is the A-4 Skyhawk, in Blue Angels colors. They were a regular fixture at the airshows my dad took us to. Second is the F-101 Voodoo used by the ANG unit stationed at Ellington AFB, where most of those airshows took place. Nothing in the world can make as much noise as a pair of Voodoos lighting off their afterburners as they take off for an intercept mission - right in the middle of the airshow, of course. Darn those Bears...

Thanks Vin. You play around with the weather, cloud and time of day and sometimes you just hit lucky. I've got the first one as my desktop now. I agree with all the comments people have made - some great planes listed there. Ahem - how about some pics of em
