You may not upload to anywhere, any modified version (other than repaints) of any Bill Lyons creation. That has been Bill's policy for some time.

Thank you sir. I am an old and somewhat fat, guy with gray hair. They call me "Ras". Looks like my friend and I will share it for our own use. I am new to FSX having been a part of it for only 5 months, however had been involved in flight sims and other sims for many years. I can understand some of the protection of a much worked product, however, I also cannot undrestand why a product this nice that was shared in FS9 cannot be shared and enjoyed by many enthusiasts in FSX. I suppose there is a problem with people charging a price and etc and there is no control over that. It is kind of like politicians...name me one who is honest!!! Thank you. Ras in MN

There would be no problem that I can see if you shared it privately among friends, however Bill does not want that sort of thing posted to public download sites. I will double check with him this week but I do not expect he will change his mind.

Turns out I was incorrect. Bill has relaxed the rules Here's a quote: "If someone can get the Stinson to work in FSX more power to him so I don't mind. As long as they leave the Graf Zeppelin alone." So there's your permission, go for it. I'll be glad to test it for you if you want an outside opinion. Please be sure to give Lynn & Bill credit for the original work.

How did the conversion go? I just downloaded the original and tried it with acceleration and although a beautiful aircraft, it just wasn't flyable without any instruments. I fly a lot of vintage aircraft with FSEconomy and have a website that has just started to help locate usable FSE aircraft for FSX and FS2004 and would be interested in any updated aircraft you may have. I do not usually host aircraft directly but prefer to point people to the big site to find them (AVSIM). Take a look if you want, not Golden Wings related but eventually a lot of the aircraft will cross over. As a side note, even though authors do not always like people to re-package their aircraft, sometimes an update package can be released separately at a site like AVSIM that includes the needed fixes and reference to the original file and most importantly recognition of the original author. This is sort of like releasing a repaint of an aircraft and usually doesn't violate the original authors EULA. I have seen this often, especially with Mike Stone aircraft. I have also seen a lot of people ignore the original authors wishes, and I try to not post these aircraft on my site.
