Got it last evening and have been flying it most of the night and all I can say is it is a true masterpiece!! Exceptional in every way! Not sure what it is, but it just feels right sitting in that cockpit - more then most other planes I've flown - perfectly reflects the feeling of an open cockpit. And oh those sounds - truly a Mike Hambley creation! Sounds right in every phase of flight - that prop popping at idle, that high pitch/RPM on take off, and that cruise hum - just right. I don't know whether to thank you guys for the plane or finding Mike Hambley . . . Kobbe's scenery is great - very representative of that era and the plane. The whole package is much more then I expected! ;D Absolutely incredibly the best!!! Thanks to all of you!!! Dan Gil is insisting . . . what great news - what a great day!!! …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

This is a great package. The only problem I had with it was the increase in sound levels when I changed from Spot View to Virtual Cockpit, and vice versa. If you change the levels in one view, when you change to the other view the sound goes to full volume. I thought it might be the simulator, but when in the Cessna 172 default I had no problem. I also tried some other non-default aircraft and had no problem, so this situation is isolated to the B-40s. Damn near blew me outta my seat with my sound system.
I'm running FSX on a Vista x64 OS. I do love the model, sound, control, and scenery. Nice work guys. The Boeing Model 40 is one of my all time favorite aircraft.
