Has anyone tried this plane yet? Looks really nice, though I'm disappointed that it doesn't include a taildragger variant.
Anyway, I'm playing around with the idea of getting it as I'm a real fan of classic Cessnas, but thought I'd ask around and see if anyone else had some flight time with it yet.

Thanks for the link. Reading those posts it sounds pretty good though there were a few people that disagreed (but there usely are with any payware model.)
Lately, in this economy I tend to buy a lot less payware than I used to, so I have to pick my purchases with a lot more care. Especially since these days a lot of developers are charging a lot more for their products.

I have it and I like it. The author has already fixed some bugs that crept into the initial release. Though the VC is not up to Carenado standards it is very usable. The flight model is excellent. The aircraft is based on the author's own aircraft.
For a first effort it is excellent and I am glad I bought it. I hope he will do well enough with this aircraft to encourage further development. I'd love to see more straight tails.

The only thing I wish was he had made the yoke removeable but that's a minor thing.

Thanks for the info, Tom and Reddog. I could tell from the pictures that I'd like how it looks, but I wondered about it's handling.
Judging from your comments and the other posts I read, it handles quite well. It's defiantly going on my list and might be my next purchase.
I hope he continues to design more as well. It does look excellent for a first release. His work looks like he'd be a good one to do a c185. (Well I can always hope, the 185 my personal favorite real world Cessna. ;D )
