Kevin...... I started the same thing last evening. Picked up the Cat after all..... Nice aircraft and started the route backwards this time. (AYTK>TOL>GON>JCB>GMA) Did those flights last evening and much to my surprise and dissappointment....... looks like the old Rapter hard drive gave out as it wouldn't start this morning. Bummer!
Don't have time to troubleshoot today.... maybe over the weekend, however, it's probably time to replace the darn drive.
So.... I'll be looking forward to further screenshots. (smile)
Cheers!

Thanks.
Sorry to hear about you hard drive failing, Steve. I guess we all probably know what that feels like. It's a real day ruiner. Hope you get it back up and running soon.

Thanks for the well wishes Kevin...... I'm just glad it's not something more. (smile) Not a big deal as the 150GB Raptor is still on warranty, however, I now see the 300GB VRaptor is currently on sale so I'll probably just order the larger (newer) VRaptor for my primary FSX drive..... and use the replacement one for another storage backup drive for my payware files.
As they say.... it all works out in the end. (smile)
Cheers,

kbr, how is she on performs (fps) on your system? I am getting an average of 35fps with this plane on my system, a Core2 Q6700 with a Nvidia 9600GT running under XP. I have most of the settings set fairly high, with scenery complex & autogen both set to dense. I do however have bloom and aircraft cast shadows on itself turned off. All in all I have to say that I am very impressed with the performance of this aircraft considering how detailed it is. Thanks for the well wishes Kevin...... I'm just glad it's not something more. Thanks for the info! So am I, reading this. I thought she'd be more fps-heavy. I thought she'd be a whole lot more FPS heavy based on some of Aerosoft's pre-release warnings, but it is one of the best performing "extreme" detail aircraft that I have in the hangar. I know that sometimes aircraft perform differently on different people's computers, but I think in general most were pleasantly surprised at really good FPS with the Cat.
