Hi,for reasons unknown to me ,my C-172 in FS9 is gone...left my hanger ..long ago...Question!! Other than a reinstall,which I do not want to do,HOW can i get it back??.....if there is away...I would greatly appreciate to know how...........thanks in advance....Vin!!

You can recover any FS9 file(s) from the CD's. I believe the aircraft are on CD#1-in MSGAME1.cab. A .cab file is similar to a .zip file.
In Windows Explorer (XP): You can 'Open' a .cab file to view the contained files. You can sort the files, according to 'destination folder', by clicking on the 'Path' column header. You can 'extract' or 'copy' file(s), but you'll have to create the 'destination folders' to place the files in.
With Winzip, or similar utility that supports .cab files, you can extract the files, 'with folders', to recover the C172.

Thanx Dave....well I got "Befuddled"..some new tricks we old dogs cannot do.....SOOO!..heres what I did, I renamed my FS9...then installed a second FS9....Plucked the C-172 out,pasted in my original, BINGO!...Got it....So now I have a warehouse...hey Parts are Parts!...thanx again..Of course your correct...BUT, one gotta do what one gotta do!!......still enjoying your birthday???
