Hello, this is my first post, so I have to say a few words: My name is Tobias and I´m from Germany. I work at the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim: www.technik-museum.de/museum_sinsheim_english.htmlSo have to do something with old airliners. Our highlight are the two supersonic airliners, Concorde and Tu144. But now I have a repaint request( because I´m to stupid to paint): Can someone paint the default Trimotoer in the colors pf Cubana? That would be really nice of you. Greetings Tobias

Hi Tobias! welcome to the TOH. That paint can be done if you mean the FS2004 version for the Ford Trimotor. Do you have any pics at hand and info on the plane? that will help a lot.
Do not expect miracles, though; because of the way that plane is made and it reflects textures several repainters have gone mad....hehe.
If our own painter Chris Brisland is very busy, I could give this a try between a project and another.

Tobias, I was fortunate enough to tour both Sinsheim and Speyer a few years ago. They are both incredible museums that everyone should go to if provided the opportunity.

OK, I will do that. It's already on the queue, so give me one or two weeks of time.
Like RR said, that's a nice place to be...you don't have a De Havilland DH80 there, don't you? that's one I need more info too. Thar Bugatti looks simply...awesome!

No, sorry, we don´t have a DH80 but maybe I can help you. But in Speyer, the other location of our museum, we have a large collection of airliner documents for 200 aircrafts or so. If you are lucky, we have something about the DH80.
At monday I will call my colleague!
Tobias

Hello Tobias, welcome, and greetings from the New Mexico badlands. I too appreciate any efforts toward finding information, pictures, drawings, or illustrations especially of the dh80 interior.

If our own painter Chris Brisland is very busy, I could give this a try between a project and another. Sorry, missed this one. The main problem is that I am now fully "FSX only" - it's just too good to go back to FS9. A secondary problem is that I have an "order book" so long that I could paint planes for other people for months ahead - but I would like to do paints to my taste occasionally and even fly in sim as well. And then there's 'the real world' out there - and it's taking its toll too. But if ever I see an interesting challenge that fits whatever I am doing, then I do come alive

Well Tobias, finally we have something...I copied (more or less) the paint scheme of the first pic and the blue colours of the Electra. I'm sure there's a logo on the fuselage but we cannot see it because of the passengers...if you know where to find it, I may add it easily. Let me know what you think, and if there are some corrections to do.
