Lots of vintage aircraft in lots of the scenery - I cannot find the aircraft in the scenery object files anywhere.
If I'm just suffering a senior moment, mea culpa, and would some of you long suffering friends tell me where to find them. I'm using EZ-scenery.
If it's as easy as placing AI aircraft (or converting aircraft to AI) in a designated spot, can you point me to a tutorial on AI Aircraft.
Sorry to prolong this: I've been thieverizing GW3 scenery and aircraft for some time. When I actually read the Old Hangar and discovered GW3, I experienced the most significant addition to my flight simming experience since I began flying FS in the early 80s - it's a very friendly group, too!!!
Many thanx for any assistance you may be able to provide!

The short answer is that there are no re-usable scenery objects that can be placed with EZ Scenery or Instant Scenery in Golden Wings or any of the Custom Classics aircraft. Those sceneries used old style API macro files that were compiled into the scenery.
There is a selection of aircraft designed to be used as AI in each CC package beginning with Golden Hawaii and in GW3 itself.
Making custom AI files is fairly easy though. You will need to download and install Traffic Tools (ttools202.zip) and AFCAD2 (afcad221.zip) available at avsim or flightsim. The docs are amazingly user friendly and with a little experimentation, you should be able to make your own. I also recommend using ttools to decompile the traffic files that come with the Golden Hawaii pack and/or the Classic Goose pack. Those will give you small and simple examples. There is also good examples with the TravelAir & Luscombe and some more complex traffic with the Challenger.
Its been a while since I used those programs and made that traffic but I will try to answer questions if I can.

Hey Stew, if you want statics, you can use the traffic stuff and make a weekly flight plan for the planes you want to be parked so that it will do a touch & go at 2 am on Sunday. You will likely not be flying then and the rest of the time it will sit in it's parking place.
