There's lot's of factories in GW3. So much I want to reduce their numbers in my install. Is there an easy way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cees

Uhm, may be editing the "ag_cob_barn" in the autogen.xml; I'm no expert but I'm sure Dave3cu will know something more.

If this is what you're referring to, found as singles or in groups..... The problem is not specific to GW, as they're there in default FS9 as well. In FS9 they're not as noticeable due to the surrounding buildings/autogen generally being taller. These are scenery objects, not autogen. The files that place these, and other generic objects are found in the various <area> folders within the main Scenery folder, example: <FS9>\Scenery\name\scenery\.. The file names are of the form 'OB<AREA>#.bgl', example: OBNAME0.bgl. There may be several within each <AREA>. The GW3 install (including updates) did not alter any of these files. Any method(s) I can think of to remove some or all them would be either tedious or produce undesireable results. -Scenery complexity slider-nearly all the generic objects in these files are set to 'Sparse' so lowering the slider will also remove most generic and custom objects. -Making the textures transparent- other objects use the same textures, and there are 'effects' (beacon, smoke) attached that would still be visible. -Removing the objects from the 'OB*.bgl' files-a daunting task to say the least.. -Creating excludes-tedious but doable I suppose if you limit yourself to those areas of greatest concern.
