Guys, None of the original FS9 aircraft in my GW3 installation have any cfg files -- I mean they disappeared! What the ^%$& happened?! Has this ever happened to you? Thanks in advance for the help, Marc Burcham

Possibly did you use an uninstaller to remove an aircraft?

No, all I did was remove the stock a/c tht were not a part of GW3 (Baron, King Air, etc.). I have been flying in GW3 for a couple of weeks now, even earlier this weekend, and I'm saying that NONE of the stock a/c (C172, Vega, Wright Flyer, Jenny, etc.) have their cfg files in the folders. It's just like they got up and walked out. Marc

Well, the final straw was after I imported the FS2002 C-172 into my aircraft file and tried to start the program.
There were no cfg files that the startup program could find! So, I am going to have to uninstall/reinstall the whole thing.
Have I gone to "The Outer Limits?"

The only time this kind of thing has happened to me is when I've used Windows System Restore and then due to a bug introduced by poor MS programming, all the aircraft installed after the point you restore back to lost their cfg files, exactly as yours have.
A case of the MS left hand not knowing what the MS right hand is doing - quite a common problem these days as they rapidly continue losing the plot.

If you have the original FS9 install, copy the missing CFG files to GW3. Or you can get them off the disks, do not remeber which disk. I do not use system restore and have never had this problem. Take care.

I had it happen to me. Only the default aircraft. All the others were fine. I never did find out why.
