OH no! I've been trying to do some good lightbolts screenshots for years....without success. THey always dissapear just when I click.

What I did was place my finger on the screenshot key, and tried to have the "jump" I made when the lightning struck make me press the key. I took several tries; but I finally got this: -James

It is not that unusual that a plane gets hit; it happens all the time but deadly incidents are really rare; that 707 was an unlucky incident indeed.

One interesting fact about lightning striking cars. I used to think that a car could not conduct lighning, so you were safe during a storm. But later found out that a car does conduct lightning thru the metal body, tires, and the ground. It is the inside plastic that insulates you.

One could go to Houston and see South West get lit up just waiting for boarding. Something about lighting and 737's.
