I've been working with some seaplane bases in FSX, using AFX. I haven't done any serious work in a few years when it comes to seaplane AFCAD files. So, I'm piecing together what I remember and would like to post a tutorial for others to follow. But, I need some help with the items I'm missing. Here's what I've got so far-
1. All taxiways, runway links, etc. need to be 0 feet wide. 2. The taxiways, etc. need to be a solid surface. You can't use water as a material. 3. I believe there is something about landing gear, but I need this better explained.
Please help fill in the blanks. What am I missing?

We'll call this shot a happy mistake. I don't know why FSX decided to do this- my flight plans do not provide this at all. Perhaps I screwed something up with the copy function. I took the shotgun effect to figuring out the AFCADs. Lots of traffic should make errors more obvious. Does anyone know how to arrange the contact points so they work correctly? I think that's where my error lies.

Take a look at Bill's AI Boeing 314 in the Classic Goose package.

Thanks Tom! I downloaded it last night. Lots of airplanes to toy with in there. Hopefully, that will help me figure this out. I've downloaded a bunch of tutorials, etc. but I don't quite get it yet.
