For a change of pace today I went to Hawaii and rescued the Kayaker again. I enjoyed flying the Icon for the first time in many months. Returning to Princeville I came in too fast and was running out of runway, but of course, I had forgotten to lower the gear so I skidded to a stop in a shower of sparks well short of the endline. Yippee. Now I have to do it again tomorrow and do it the right way.

I've been flying the Cub for so long that I too always forget the gear, and all other aspects of flying complex aircraft. ;D
Checklists, checklists!
Best regards. Luis

It is rare that I fly anything with retractable gear. In FSX my favorite ride is the default C172 and I have every FSX Cub I have found. Raising and lowering gear does not compute
