After a complete reinstall of Windows I had to install Flight Simulator and other programs again. I don't remember the sort of settings I had for my ATI control panel or the tweaks I made to FS in order to make it look like it did. For one, everything blurs after a certain distance, even with view distance at the highest setting. Also, I turn up all anti-aliasing settings, including in my ATI panel, but I get jaggeties like never before! The last time I configured my FS and ATI panel together was with the help of Jakemaster. He hasn't been around lately, though.

Use tri-linear in FS and mip-map of at least 5 in FS. Then use anistropic on your vid card.

I think I have fixed the AA problem by disabling a couple of features in my ATI panel. But the blurries still occur. Mipmaps are set to the highest setting, all settings in FS are set to the highest. Maybe it's something in the FS config file?

What's your texture_bandwidth setting? - You should bump that up to at least 400

That was set to 60. I changed it to 400 but it still had no effect. That's strange. Who knows what is causing this problem, I didn't have this problem before.
