this is the tiger flote. I have. Check for patches and updates. there should be an .CAB file in your panel folder as is in mine. self extracters can be a pain in the ?? the missin gauge is his gage not a stock one in my plane

I will ... when I downloaded the above mentioned file ... it did not have the self-extractor ... it was simply a extract into main fs file ... let me check avim ... in I don't think I even saw a ,cab file for it.

The two I downloaded from avsim ... again contained no .cab file ... outcome.. the same.. These are the gauges that unloaded into the main gauge file
DH82ALT1.gau DH82RPM1.gau radiog.gau tmairspeed.gau
However, the panel config file refers to the following...
gauge01=xml!TA1 gauge02=xml!TA13 gauge03=xml!TA3 gauge04=tatank gauge05=tatach gauge06=tacomp gauge07=taasi gauge08=taalt gauge09=fordoil2 gauge10=tamag,184 gauge11=xml!carb_heat gauge12=xml!Engine_Primer gauge13=xml!tasmoke gauge14=pm-3,908,638 gauge15=pm-4,908,672 gauge16=xml!bannerb
ALso the
Handheld_Radio!radio
is missing...
interestingly the above gauges were in the main guage file ... how or where they came from, I haven't a clue ... and the was a zip file, identified as only xml.zip that had h names that corresponded with the above. I placed copies of these guage files and the xml.zip file into the panel file ... still no change.
Ideas???

Hey Dale,
That looks like Bill Lyon's moth. If you are flying in Golden Wings (GW) look in your gauge folder and see if you have the hurricane_1.gau for the turn indicator, fuel gauge and oil pressure read out, and you will also need the F4U1A_Corsair.gau file for the compass. I found them in my original install of FS9 and copied them over to GW. Oh yes, and you'll also need f6f3_hellcat.gau for the ignition switch.

Found some gauges WAY in the back of a storage shack ... buried in a heap of stuff ... dusted them off ... cleaned them up ... and installed them. Dale

Great ... thank you. This is where I have come to this point ... (oh.. wanted to point out that the only reason I haven't been able to dive into the FS9 gauges is for some reason many are missing ... and I - right now - can't get at them, as they are still packed away and over at the new apartment) But, did re-install the Rapide .. and "mine" came with a couple of crates of extra parts including a pile of gauges ... so here is where I am to this point .. Last night before I turned in, I went over to airliners.net and was looking at a number of Tiger Moth cockpit shots and it is interesting how the instrument arrays varried. Dale
