I love the Goose - but am having trouble with the AP. What do the NAV and HDG buttons on the AP link to? NAV doesn't liink to the GPS and I don't see an adjustable heading bug for HDG...? I'm sure there's something obvious I'm missing here.. Thank you, Mr. Lyons - what a lovely bird. Palmer

I think there are several posts relating to it here in this forum. I do not recall if there is a fix. Perhaps someone who was successful will chime in here.

Shift 2 for Navstack and A/P VC ADJ MAIN ALT. ADJ turns the aircraft + or - if in AP HDG. No bug. Just read the panel heading indicator and roll out on desired heading. MAIN turns the AP off or on. All functions off or on. ALT turns the ALT/AP off or on. Need to go back to Navstack for altitude changes.
I've used the GPS in A/P. Flight Planner depart/dest/ alt. If desired, course changes by mousing the course line to waypoint, airfield, VOR etc. Save as Flight Plan. Select NAV on the Navstack A/P. ADJ not functional if in A/P NAV.
FYI: X Garmin 1000 allows waypoints to be created. Stick it and click it.

Thanks. I STILL can't get the AP to track the GPS but I am able to track a heading so thanks for that. Shouldn't be flying this old bird on AP anyway right?

FSAviator recently came out with some adjustments to the Goose. www.calclassic.com/goose.htmI have not had a chance to experiment with it, and I don't know if this will help, but you may want to check it out.
