Well tonight's gone for me(it's 12:30am here) but tomorrow night is CURRY night! ;D
That is diced chicken breast slow cooked in a madras sauce served with pilau rice and popadums. Lime pickle and mango chutney as a dip for the popadums ;D
I make far too much and force myself to eat it all.

I love curries but I have to eat it all myself and nobody I eat with will touch it. When my second ex-wife and I went to London last year we stayed in a hotel with a small Indian restaurant in the lobby. There is a nice restaurant her in Bangor (A Taste of India) and where my son lives there are many BUT every reataurant has some little difference. I liked the one in London best so far. Oh I had home made chicken teryaki with roast potatoes and not mushy peas

Tom, When we get together again, we'll have to try some curried chicken. My mother used to make some when I was a kid. I haven't had any in about 30 years......... Paul

Tonight I made a Pork Loin Roast, Potatoes O'Brien, and Ratatouille yummy. I like to do a pork loin in the rotisserie. I haven't made Ratatouille in a while, last batch of eggplant I made Caponata

Tonight is 15 bean soup, we bought a ham bone and have kept it until it got chilly, today it is cool and a bit gray, should be in the 50s tonight, so good soup weather. On the side, cornbread with bacon and jalapeno bits, a simple salad with some pears, walnuts and gorgonzola. IPA for me, tea for Kathy, it should be a great meal and since we make lots of soup at a time, there will be lots to freeze (always better the second eating).

I liked the one in London best so far. ) I love indian food the ones here are ok dont have popadoms or chapatties and they use green peppers? when i lived in north london a great indian friend of mine taught me to cook Indian food i love cooking and eating an i still only weigh 140lbs ;D myself i cook chineese, other Asian foods Indian, British cuisine,(love mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding) any seafood, since i have been living in the US i have learnt the art or at least the ar ;D of cooking on the barbeque grill, My wife who is an excellent cook makes Itallian and mexican food any way tonight im having piza dellivered hate to do dishes H

This thread seems to be going a bit international.....so here's a few memorable gastronomic delights from my worldly travels. Singapore... Lunch snack in a street cafe. Hot and sour soup with a crusty roll. I forgot we were in Asia and eating what they REALLY eat ! HOT was a good description. I couldn't put my lips together for an hour Thailand...Fish restaurant in Patong. A Grilled Sea Bream with a delightfully delicate sweet and sour sauce and mash potato with a hint of lemon grass. The fish was still swimming 30 minutes before. You don't get much fresher than that. Greece. Rhodes island... A multi course meze' meal that lasted almost four hours. A lovely mix of meat, fish and vegetables all washed down with a couple of bottles of excellent local white wine. All consumed in company with the owners and their family which made for an enormously relaxed, convivial evening. USA. Orlando...The Red Lobster restaurant on International Drive. The MOST succulent medium fillet steak I have ever tasted, with chunky fries, mushrooms and freshly cut onion rings. I still can't get over the American habit of serving the salad first though ! UK...The Pilot Boat pub on Dungeness beach. Quite simply the BEST fish and chip meal in the UK. Book a table at weekends or you won't get in ! Australia...Palm Cove, North Queensland, just off the beach. A family outing to one of the finest restaurants in the world...but I cannot for the life of me remember it's name 5 star gastronomic extravaganza and a wine list to die for. It cost a lot but it was worth it. Sri Lanka, beach restaurant... The tastiest prawn cocktail ever, beautifully presented, with a mixed fish grill to follow. ....this one had a sting in the tail though. There had been a suicide bombing in the capital two days earlier and there was an island wide military/police curfew with everyone unable to leave their immediate area. Many Sri Lankan beach restaurants don't have refrigeration, relying instead on their fare coming fresh each day. This hadn't happened and we got the seafood that bit back Ever heard the saying " the bottom has fallen out of my world " ? Well, reverse that and you may begin to get the picture of the next 7 days. It wasn't so much a case of thinking we were going to die, more a case of wishing we could Over to you folks.
