they're trying to kill me... $3.70 a gallon! with a bullet! and no end in site. I dont understand why everyone is so.. 'oh well' about it. It's gone up more than a dollar since monday. They claim the hurricane limited access to an area that only provides 10% of our refinery capability, but more than a 40% increase is just a GOUGE!!! must be nice to be an oil baron and large and in charge. think i'll go smoke one of my 5$ a pack cigs, and then prepare myself for 400$ a month gas bills this winter...

yeah, i dont look at it in terms of politics really... just what i deem fair and necessary.
My hatred for Exxon Mobil may be clouding my judgement.
I swear i heard on the radio a while back, they make 3 million dollars a minute. I started laughing, but they were all serious about it.
my mind just caint oonderstand that many figgers..
I do feel sorry for my wallet tho' she's taken a beaten!

I am beginning to think that we need to grow more corn. Wonder why Middle East Tankers are not steaming full speed toward the US with Oil. After all, we rent them our army anytime they have a problem. Oh well. SD

Filled up on Monday for $2.32 a gallon and today for $2.99 at the cheapest place I could find. It's ranging from $2.99 to $3.25 for regular unleaded in Sumter SC today.

Near 3.30 here in N. Wisconsin as of yesterday, up from 2.83 in the last 48hr. One station out in the boonies now advertises gas for 1.85........(fine print) per half gallon. My guess is over 3.50 this weekend being Labor Day, with many vacationers traveling to our area for the last holiday weekend of the summer. And our refineries are only 60 mi. away... But who knows, maybe they will contribute their windfall profits to the relief effort as George, George and Bill are now asking the rest of us to do. Dave

Yeah, it is about $3.29/gal here, but I found a BP that was selling for $2.93. Just two days ago I filled up for $2.45. We are all trying to change our habits here in the neighborhood, I went out to the fruit market and grocery store and hardware store yesterday, and I picked up goodies for three couples, no one goes out now without offering to pick up necessary things for everyone. I guess we should have been doing that all along.

Sorry guys... But it's nice not to be the highest price in the country anymore.. ;D
Just filled up yesterday at $2.75 a gallon, though I buy on base, so I'm getting it at about $0.20 cents cheaper than off base...
One thing good about Hawaii gas prices is they don't jump around like the mainland...
We've only gone up an average of $0.50 a gallon over the last year. We're actually on a slight downward drop right now... Not much, but guess it's better than rising.
Not sure how the new gas cap is effecting pricing, there was no notice in prices from the 31 to the 01 of Sep the day the law went into effect...

You think you guys have got a problem !!!!
Here in the UK regular unleaded costs $7.76 per UK gallon ( 4.45 litres ). Your gallon is about 4 litres which comes out at $6.97 US gallon. About 80 % of that is tax.
......and you think you've got a problem with George W in power ?
Methinks the natives are going to revolt soon.
