All. First of all, I had never heard of Pancho Barnes. After reading the stuff in the great links you posted, I am amazed that I had not heard of her. Thank you for bringing this up. If you will pass on a link where I can get the scenery, it would be appreciated. I'm not an AFCAD guru but I have some experience with it and would be glad to see if I can iron out the wrinkle.

Look for barnes.zip and a small fix file called barnesfx.zip at Avsim, Simviation or Flightsim.com. If you can fix the AFCAD I may be encouraged to write a better version of the original file. I have come across a little more data on what the place really looked like. Nige.

I got the files... thanks.
I don't know what to do with the AFCAD file. It seems to be some sort of text file and I can't find any way to open it with AFCAD2. It seems to only want to handle the compiled bgl files. This may have had something to do with an earlier version of AFCAD but it doesn't look like it's supported now.
Any suggestions?

That sounds like AFCAD for 2002. It won't work in FS9

Guess I will need to build a new one. There's quite a bit of information in the text file but does anyone have a layout picture or screenshot?

Yes, of course it's an FS2002 file! Silly me. I have an FS9 version that also won't work but, being a newbie here, I have no idea how I could get it to you. Suggestions? Nige,
