Although these screenies were taken today, this is 1997, already a sequel for a 1995 simulator! Amazingly, it still works on WinXP Of course I want you to guess it ;D Still, it has some pretty good features even for today's standards. It had a better rain effect, I think and also some cleaver VC stuff like the ability to lock the view on a specific point in the horizon and have the VC move around as your head/eyes would do... no Active Camera ;D ...for the pictures!

Sabrehawk! What a nice surprise, buddy Yes, nice place, full of wonderful stuff, to an extent that's even hard to believe! You were very missed on the last edition, btw, all the guys were wondering about you, but if I remember it right that year you trade fighting for fishing Yes, bingo! FUII. I tried to install FUI - my first GA sim, though it was mostly aerobatics ;D - but mine is a DOS version so I went for the II. The v.III I never got to buy. So, we'll be seeing around, huh? Blue Skies, Pilot! Joao

Ahhh hah!! ;D Hehe, yup it was the "Press e to start engine" box that gave it away for me though the terrain did also. My first sim at my age of innocence was Propilot 99, then I found FU III at an office supply store and it's that flightsim that kinda got me started in my lust to live up here in the northwest USA(Seattle area). Heh, viewing this area from the air is just a sight to behold, and to live here is even better. We have all four seasons, and none of which are extreme and this summer has been the best I've had in 20yrs or so. ( I kinda got hate summer when I lived in Phoenix) I got to see the Blue Angels airshow over Lake Washington from the cockpit of my kayak this year, and well.....................words dont do justice! As soon as I figure how to get some images hosted someplace I'll post some up fer ya. Well, later bro

Heh, well while wer'e at it might as well go to Pancho's too for a drink & a dance.(well, I can dream anyway) ;D www.panchobarnes.com/Oh, and here's a shot of Pancho's in FS9 a little FS2k2 scenery that's been around a long time(cant remember the fellows name who made it but I'll dig it up), and I have added to it using FSE. I've added lots of sounds, and such and that really makes an atmoshere. Hmmm, seems the only thing I need now is a horse to ride.

Good to know that file works in fs9. You mention that you've "added" to the scenery. Is there a file available for those additions?

And yes, I can zip up a pkg with the FSE files needed, and upload them someplace or e-mail it to ya. But you have to have FSE to use them of course. Heh, and it too is an ongoing project, never quite finished as I add to it just about each time im there flying( or drinking, carousing, dancing, riding ect. ;D) Another shot with a few more bldg. : Out on the runway :

Apologies for busting in on this thread with trivia - but if you can grab a look at the 1983 movie, "The Right Stuff", Panchos features in it. The old fellow behind the bar was Chuck Yeager. Worth knowing, you can never tell when someone might ask...

Hey Sabrehawk! Last time I met up with you it was in the skies over Edwards in a Starfighter! I am the guy that wrote the Happy Bottom Riding Club scenery. It does work in FS9 but I cannot get the AFCAD file to behave, which is why I didn't release it for FS9. I get the dreaded 'altitude mismatch' and the AI aircraft taxi around about six feet underground. I have tried all the usual fixes but they only seem to work if you are modding a default airfield. If you have created a new airfield in what was an empty space, as is the case for Pancho's, then you cannot seem to get the AFCAD to play nicely. You can use the scenery without the AFCAD but that means it does not show up in the 'airports' menu, ATC don't recognize it, AI aircraft can't use it, all that stuff. I may post a plea in the scenery forum and see if the gurus can come up with something. By the way, I read Lauren Kessler's book 'The Happy Bottom Riding Club' and can thoroughly recommend it. Pancho was an incredible woman. Nige.
