Is there a way to make the grass and dirt runways more visible? I just flew over Bangor Maine, saw the hanger but could not make out either of the dirt runways that are supposed to be there. I have had the same problem at most other airports that are grass or dirt.

If you don't like the grass or dirt runways replace them with those from your regular fs2004.

Generally they are not that easy to see in real life either At my local strip in the UK we use visual reference points to get aligned - now if the farmer ever removes that broken tractor we could be in trouble

I made some updated Grass and dirt runways and taxiways a few years ago that you might like to try ?? PLEASE make sure you have backups of the original GW runway Textures in case you don't like this version !! ozmesh.com/gw/newdgb.zipCheers Ian

Hi Ian, I looked at them last night but I'm not sure how the sim will call the runway? If in Fs9 it was a Bitumen strip, but is now grass, will FSGW call it as grass or bitumen?
Also do you know of any good landclass for the UK?
Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger, My Files only alter the look of Grass & Dirt Runways/Taxiways , so it shouldn't make any difference when it comes to bitumen runways.
No doubt I have Landclass for the UK somewhere here it's just a matter of finding it as I use different Computers for Designing than I do for Flying, will have a look this week and see what I have here.
Cheers Ian
