Bill included a vesrsion of Manchester Barton airport, which fits in quite well with GW3, in his Tiger Moth package. One or two things though - I have green patches coming through - I presume this is the underlying AFCAD and if I remove or change it it will disappear- anybody else got this? secondly there appears to be buildings thats autogen or something sticking out from the main hangar - any ideas of how to get rid of this?

It may well be the underlying textures showing through. This tends to be caused by the altitude of the underlying scenery and the airport not being quite aligned. You may wantto check the altitude where the problem is using a plane and then compare it to the altitude in the AFCAD file - assuming there is one.
Is this scenery for FS9 or FS2k2? the compiled AFCAD files will be different.

IF I ever get caught up from my vacation, I will be available to make AFCADs. I definitely plan to make one for William Shea's Roosevelt Field, but it will be at least a week. I'll post a "who wants AFCADs" when I am ready

Do you know how I can get rid of the building poking out of the main hangar - I don't think it's supposed to be like that?'

Biplaneflyer, I may be able to help with the building (no promises, a bit of luck required!), provided when I look at Barton I see the same problem; or you can describe precisely where it is (screenshot? - PM me if you like). May take a day or so, I have guests this evening. Don't mind helping with AFCADs within my abilities also, if I can - been doing my own for a while. Tom and others, do you want to leave Barton with me - again, a couple of days? Just to relieve you of one task?

I don't think I'll be able to look at any AFCADs before the weekend.

Biplaneflyer, my setup has no sign of the green patches (they aren't tartan by any chance? I have been traumatized by green tartan areas recently ... but that's another story!) However, I also had the stray autogen building in the hangar. And I found a parking spot halfway into a building. Not quite sure how we swap files here but if anyone wants this fix try ; users.chariot.net.au/~theburfs/docs/EGCB_Barton.zip . For some reason it also opens a blank page but this exercise is pretty hasty... It's actually on a small site I put up to use a little space without hopefully attracting a full time job . Any problems with the download, and so I can check the green stuff, get back to me when you have a moment and you never know, there's a slight chance it might even be something I can try to fix...

Hi John - that fix works well -great to have guys like you around. I have enclosed a photo of the bleed through areas below - i get this with both the default mesh and eddie Dennys mesh which I use for the UK! Once again thanks for your work! P.S. Like the idea of your website very much - most of my flying will be in the UK -apart from the flying I shall be doing at Imperial Airways - I'm working on a little scenery for a fictional airfield at the moment

p.s. John do you know of this site - uk.geocities.com/derbosoft/great scenery for Liverpool area - includes the old airport buildings (version 3 - not the newest version -in the add-on scenery section -the newest version includes a modern road layout and shopping centre?) - but does not have the airport!! I'm trying to find the layout of the airport - have found 1 site with a small plan and ordered a book today on old british airports/airfields - might try and russel up a quick AFCAD layout from what I have.
