So, If I made some scenery for GW, where would I upload it? Larry Farmer that would depend. Bill will add things to the next update, or if its a large file and you prefer, you can send it to Biplaneflyer or even upload it to the major sites. In the end it's up to you. Let us know what you have... or send Bill a PM

Hi Guys Just a note to let you know that Phil Cayton, Terry Hansen and Myself (WillyB) Bill Dick are working on the Airmail Route from San Francisco to New York. I have done some research on it, I have found the original flight plan given to the pilots in 1921 as a guide on how to fly the route. This is the same one we will be working on, and including in the scenery's as they get completed. I have started in Oakland and heading East, I have completed two of the destinations, and will hand them over to Phil as he does the AFCAD , sounds etc. Terry is going to do the repaints 0n the different types of aircraft that were used I understand that most of the pilots owned their own aircraft, they were contracted to the US. mail Authorities. They were pretty much in control of what type of a paint job they liked, so there are many different ones for each plane. If any one has any Ideas or help with this project I can be reached at (willybee@shaw.ca) This post is so if anyone else is working on this Idea we don't tread on each others toes. Thanks....... WillyB

Willyb, could you possibly post that in the Scenery Development sticky too? It sounds fantastic and it would be a bummer if somebody else got in there not realizing you were already working on it.

And farmer, how about getting in touch with biplaneflyer about hosting your scenery? It certainly sounds like something I'D like to have. Especially that last one. There's not enough twenties stuff around. (Personally I don't think there CAN be enough twenties stuff....)
