...those tracts of bright green land under power lines. They're really getting me annoyed. just removing the bmp causes a ctd. I think the offending bmp is 'utilitymask' in scenery\world\texture

In your Terrain.cfg, comment out texture areas 1211 & 1212. I think that will do it.

Ha ha, Only problem is it seems to take out the pylons too ;D Check those texture calls in terrain.cfg, maybe you could have it call a more attractive texture and perhaps narrow the cut area as well.

Ok, Sussed it Edit these two lines in the terrain.cfg as shown. This way you get pylons but no daft tracts of bright green underneath them. Thanks Tom for the pointer to the .cfg. [Texture.1211] // utility Type=3 Size=4 ExcludeAutogen=1 MaskClassMap=1 VectorAutogen=0 //Textures=utilitymask.bmp RenderToTexture=0 [Texture.1212] // utility Type=3 Size=4 ExcludeAutogen=1 MaskClassMap=1 VectorAutogen=0 //Textures=utilitymask.bmp RenderToTexture=0
