I discovered all about full power for to long with this one and ended up doing a quick turn around for a downwind landing with a smoking engine. The switching between views takes this poor o'tired rig about 2 seconds. Longer for the 3d panel to show up. There must be some intense graphics there. It's still a great plane..

I wonder if this is the same Bob Sanderson i met at the Flight Sim focus group in Chicago a few years back?
i need to go get thisn, who doesnt love the Stearmans.
elcamino,
if you get a program called DXTbmp you can work on the textures to find a format your rig likes better.
you can also try resizing them in a paint program.
I used to try and run all this on a AMD 1.35 and onboard video of 35mb.. my framerates were in the teens most of the time.. low teens.
good luck
got a nice spot picked out for this one.

Re DXT3, Epsillon made a DXT3 batch converter program so all you do is drop the texture folder in with the .BAT and click the mouse.
