ATC has made great progresses from 2k2 to FS9 in procedures and, in spite of what many say in vectoring you to landing. Two things need to be worked out IMO :
- choice of runway according to the wind, landing a taildragger with the wind in the behind is not, how to say it mildly, a recipe for success...
- being able to talk to the tower if we can already hear it on radio even if the game menu has ,ot yet decided that we could talk to the controller...

While the ATC has exceeded my expectations in FS9, I have always believed that the only way to have real ATC is to have real controllers. Enhanced multi-player support for flight crews and controllers built in would be my choice. Having as an aircraft a working tower with VC radar gauges etc. would be absolutely fantastic as would being able to fly a complex aircraft with an appropriate flight crew.

It would be nice to be able to declare an emergency as well as divert. I plan on using flightsim when I get back into real-world flying to teach me instrument stuff and I'd like to see more of that.

The only thing you've to yell mayday in your own room FS9 doesn't do that ;D I agree
