That's an interesting question - if I knew I could not tell you and if I don't know I could not tell you either ;D

You are a beta tester I am guessing.. I hear a ton of talk about upgrading stuff. I really don't want to buy a $600 Windows Vista OS, and a $300 HDD on top of that! ;D If you are a beta tester, then what are your system specs and how does it perform?? Or is that getting too in depth, must keep the secrecy!

Please note and understand this everyone. All FSX beta testers are restricted by a non-disclosure agreement that is so strict that it even forbids testers from admitting they are testers. This is how Microsoft runs beta tests. So, as the old bald guy once said, "Those who know, don't say. Those who say, don't know." You might get an answer to your questions in one of the bigger forums where some of the development team sometimes give out information.

Oh ok, I didn't know how their little agreement worked. But when they say that they can't talk, they already said they are a beta tester. Well with all of this silence I sure hope they come out with a news update on their development, some new screenshots would be great.

Since Microsoft is showing off the latest build of the best at Oshkosh this week you may find some news at Avsim or the other big sites.

....But when they say that they can't talk, they already said they are a beta tester. Not necessarily. The traditional "No comment!" has always been used (and continues to be used) by those who both know and don't know, in all situations, from the highest levels of politics to the lowest levels of society. I can't talk about what FSX includes, either. Bruce

That was funny! I had heard about those Microsoft's "severe rules"...and wanted to know more. None of the undercover testers falled into my booby trap... may be next time guys! remember to be alert. ;D the enemy is behind each corner.
I am not really interested in FSX now and I don't even follow the news and updates about it. Let's see when it comes out what it has to offer. But sooner or later, I'll have to check it out: that will be the sim at least untill 2009\2010. By then, 'puters will change a lot, and what today is a top machine, it'll be history by then. May be, FSX will express all his power in that future still to come.

I am not really interested in FSX now and I don't even follow the news and updates about it. Isn't that funny....I feel the same way. There is so much that I enjoy about FS9 that, although I will (naturally) eventually buy FSX, I am unexcited about the forthcoming release. I have no inclination at all to replace what I currently have...FS9 and GW. Bruce

Generally speaking I still say that BUT some of the Microsoft marketing and development team (tdragger for example) are actually answering questions in the big forums. So THEY are "saying and knowing."
I still can't get excited about FSX though. I guess the 4 highly customized FS9/GW installs I have now make me happy.

Tom, Maybe there is a difference in what MS employees might be allowed to say than the testers
