But there's one big difference: in the UK, when you see the price on an item, that's what you're going to pay for it, VAT and all. Here, they post the price BEFORE tax, so you have to do the math in your head (or carry a calculator with you) to find out what the actual nut is going to be. Very dishonest practice, intended to sucker you into thinking you're getting things cheaper, but they almost all do it. I agree that it is dishonest. In my area, the tax seems to change based on the zoning. From what it is in one store, it can be different in the store down the street. It's hard to know what I'm paying 'til I see it on the cash register.

Has anyone had a chance to compare this payware beaver with the excellent freeware beavers of John Woodward and/or Steven Grant maybe combined with the panel of Jean-Pierre Langer and Arne Bartels ? Thanks

Has anyone had a chance to compare this payware beaver with the excellent freeware beavers of John Woodward and/or Steven Grant maybe combined with the panel of Jean-Pierre Langer and Arne Bartels ? Thanks The Aerosoft Beaver is top notch payware. Worth it. The newly revised John Woodward Beavers are very good. The VC is nearly as good as the Aerosoft model and if you are on a budget, you will be well served with those. I have them installed along side the Aerosoft. The Steven Grant Beavers, while well modeled for an FS9 conversion, lack a VC and so don't make the cut. I can't comment on any of the 2D panels having not looked at them for more than a button press as they are of no use to me.
