When I installed Misty Fjords, I thought I removed all the old, incompatible airports etc. from my scenery files. I was wrong. I came across this one- and I'm glad I did. It's really neat. It sits up high on a small mountain, between two peaks. While building the latest version of Alaska AFCADs, I decided to give it an AFCAD file and traffic. It's located just west of the Observatory Inlet on Mt. Dent. I have tentatively called it Mt. Dent with the identifier of MTD. The name on the Post Office is McCarthy, AK. However, McCarthy is much further north. Lots of room, despite it's location. A bunch of buildings too! It's a great airport to practice unusual aerobatic routines...!... ;D Does anyone remember what scenery this is? Possibly who made it? I'd like to see if I can get a few updates done to it.

Well the texture is my edit for my McCarthy scenery for FS2002, but that isn't McCarthy as you noted. If you want to clean up the texture, its Grizgul.bmp or better still you can find the original texture in an Doc George API at Frank's Hangar. I usually renamed edited textures but apparently did not do that one

Well, an ICAO code would help...sometimes you can get them from your GPS....
Coodinates would also help!

There are no ICAO codes for it anywhere. I found it by coming across it. Anyhow- coordinates are as follows: N55.14.81 W129.57.7
Tom- I redid the sign, but changed the color depth. The sign isn't coming up now. Do I need to go back to 256 color or does it maybe need to be run through DXTbmp?
I don't want to give too much away, but it'll be another $100.00 hamburger- more like mooseburger spot. ;D

I'm pretty sure it was 256 color but DXTBmp or BMP2000 would fix it I think that might be one of Frank's sceneries but there is nothing there in the default
