I just did my first flight in this plane today and I already feel that it is my favorite of Eugene Heyart's Otters so far. It flies very well and it is easy to forget just how big the plane is in flight. A lovely day for a flight... Is it my imagination, or is there a mist building? Looks like trouble on the horizon, but I'm very close to my destination, should be able to make it. Guess not. Wasn't expecting my first landing in this plane to be in a strong crosswind. The hanger's too low... Darn, guess I'll have to park out here. ;D

Great mountain shots Kevin and a great, great plane!! I just finished a flight to Hooper Bay, Alaska myself - can't remember where I took off from - doesn't matter - I like flying that plane. You're right, when landing one tends to forget how big and/or how high it is - can't get used to it and end up bouncing down the runway - - Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Remember to land lightly on those!
