Up at avsim, downloading now! I know, I know, not really golden age, but still a classic. It doesn't have to be Golden Age here at The Old Hangar. The Argosy will do just fine Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Guys Thanks for your kind words. I still have a long way to get to your standards though Bill I will try & build something that will fit into GW at some point as the Chipmunk missed. (Bill's Awesome Tiger Moth was my inspiration to make a better Chipmunk that i was able to find) Regards Rick ;D

If the ugliest aircraft i have ever seen has not got you running i guess i will have to just keep trying. Funny thing is when I started researching the Argosy i hated the thing with a passion. After a year of building it then hiding it i actually really like it's functional look. Sort of goes against the "if it look right it flies right" adage. The Pilots notes warn the crew that she is not a Viscount no matter how good she feels to fly. the massive elevator trim input at near MAUW is correct too unless you want full back stick till you get the flaps up at 140 knots. Downloads have gone into Major Banzai mode which is a little Scary for such an ugly beast. Regards Rick
