Discovered this lovely Maine route by John D'Angelo, while browsing this evening. It is also one of the few freeware routes that I have found for TRS2006 that installed and ran off the bat without any problems or time spent hunting down dependencies. You can read about it and get it here; www.virtualrailroader.com/WMW-1.htmlIt also includes a activity with a programed AI driver, but I just kicked him out of the train and took over. Here's couple screen captures I took while trying out the route. Also on the same download page that this route is available on, is a larger less snowy route that this one was designed from, "Boston To Portland Final route" which I haven't tried yet, but also looks very nice based on the pictures.

Thank Kevin. I m going to try that one out. I have been playing with the route builder and so far a made a really nice (but very small) test route. I will make a better one whan I have more time though. The one I am making is an old "wild west ghost town" type route. Loads of tunnels with one being an underwater one.

You're welcome. I did a little bit in it and it is a fun route for this time of year. I want to try his Boston to Portland route as well when I get a chance. Thank Kevin. I m going to try that one out. I have been playing with the route builder and so far a made a really nice (but very small) test route. I will make a better one whan I have more time though. The one I am making is an old "wild west ghost town" type route. Loads of tunnels with one being an underwater one. I'd like to see the western style route when you're finished, if you make it avalable. I've been wanting to see a wild west route in Trainz. There is a site that was working on a "wild west" route, but their last update was over a year ago, so I think they must have put the project on the shelf which is a shame. www.railserve.com/jump/jump.cgi?ID=18743
