It's amazing what Bob has done in his Hurricane and now with this Stearman with airfile development. His rendition of engine management along with prop management in this aircraft is nothing short of spectacular.
The expensive payware designers should take note....
Er...the package comes with out Crop Dusting equipment on the model as well (sorry to hear about your friend).
What the?! What's with this black smoke coming out?! Why am I loosing power?! Aw geez!!! Now I gotta replace the engine (and part of the wing for that matter as it's from here to forty feet behind me!!!)
First, I would like to congratulate Robert Sanderson and his contributors for a fantastic materpiece.
I recall many many moons ago when I was a line-boy at Cartierville airport, those Stearmans from Wheeler Air Lines in St. Jovite, (a big crop dusting contractor), often stopped overnight at Cartierville Airport on their way to New Brunswick.
One morning, very early, I saw about thirty or more of them take off in formation. WOW, those empty grinders were off the ground in no time and climbing like a bat our of hell. What a sight and the sound of those radials.......
This is a not so sure reproduction from Ye Olde Memory. Guess, I am just 'enjoying' good souvenirs. If someone has photos, I will correct it. I could not find any.
