I've installed FS9 in a new HD (the last suddenly crashed) & after reinstalling Silver Wings scenery I noticed that north of Seatlle to north of Snohomish, looks like a black & green checkerboard. My last FS9 didn't look this & was great. I'd be grateful if someone could help me to put things right. I can always unistall SW but don't want to as, as far as I can tell, it's just this bit of Wa that's affected & around JFK.......the rest of the world appears to be OK.
Thanks.

I had a similar problem at one time. You're missing some Silverwings textures and need to download and install all the updates that are available

Terry, If this is what you're seeing, the fix is as I described for you over at SimV.....Using DXTBmp or Imagetool, open the ..\Scenery\World\texture\033b2su7.bmp file and save the file with MIPS To my knowledge there is no update available with the corrected file. If you don't want to try the fix yourself, I can e-mail the corrected file. If this isn't the problem you're describing, could you post a screen shot? Dave
