Recently I bought Carenado's Cessna 172 float plane and while it's a very nice looking model, for some reason the plane will not pushback. This is a real problem when I need to pull the plane out of a dock. I was wondering if any of you guys that have more experience with airplane config files might have any ideas I could try to fix this?
I also have a feeling the plane is not positioned on the water properly, because if I try to use slew mode, the plane takes off flying when I turn slew off.
I've messed around some with the static cg height and contact points of the plane, but have had no success yet.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.

Never mind. I figured out a fix on my own. I was also having a problem with active camera not working right with this plane, but I managed to find a workaround with that problem too. The only problem I haven't been able to fix is the slew problem, but with pushback now working, I don't really need to use slew mode. So I'm off to enjoy some flying with this plane.

Some 'landplanes' do have the same problem. Slewing them to another position and then pressing the <Y> makes them fly away at high speed. As far as I know you can avoid that, by pressing <F1> first. For some reason, only then the plane 'knows' he's really on the ground/water. Theo

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't aware of that trick. I'll give it a try.
