A new video of the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 Extreme (their latest version) on a short hop (for the CX that is) from Sandspit to Portland. This new version is very nice indeed if you like realism in models. The VC is superb as well. This is most likely the best FS jet I have seen to date. All systems operate as they should which is good... if you don't mind spending 15 minutes before each flight to get things going.

Looks nice, Keith - both the video and the new plane!! I just looked at their site - didn't know they came out with a new Citation for FS9 - thought they had gone over to the other side . . . Thanks for the Hu! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Dan,
Yes, they are still releasing for FS2004. I am a beta tester (when time permits) for Ron the owner and he is a good friend of mine. He plans (for now anyway) to keep developing for FS2004 along with FSX until sales for FS9 drops off and makes it pointless. For now FS9 and FSX are almost neck and neck in 3rd part sales though so there is still some life in the old platform yet.

Here's the link to the Sale . . . www.eaglesoftdg.com/Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D It's a great plane Dan. This new version is very realistic though, which means that you MUST use the FMS and all major systems are modeled so it takes awhile to setup a flight. Maybe 15 minutes or more if you follow all procedures. Just wanted to give you a heads up that is is not a "jump in and fly" sort of aircraft so you will need to know a good deal about the FMS and such. But, if you don't mind that it's one heck of a plane for sure. ;D

But, if you don't mind that it's one heck of a plane for sure. ;D Thanks, Keith! Well, based on my typical mode of flying, I may reconsider - not that I mind setting up an FMS and all, but 90% of my sim flying is jump in/go, at the runway I might add. More due to time constraints then anything else. So, while it would be challenging for awhile, I'm afraid the interest would become more of a 'job' then fun. It looks so nice though . . . I have their first Citation X (1.0 version) and that even takes some initial set up, but nothing like your talking about. I've always enjoyed it, along with the Beech and the Premier, but then again, their both ready when I am . . . I appreciate the advice - always welcome!! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Sure thing guys. Don't get me wrong though it is a great plane and actually my favorite behind the Aeroworx King Air 200 for realism... just that the realism causes the setup time which can be a downfall if you want a quick flight.
