My name is Dave and I have FS2004 and the FSX also. I really enjoy the simulators, I dont have the pedal set up, but I use a decent joystick. Forget the name, but when you crash the stick vibrates. ;D My true passion is autogyros and would like to find some downlaods for either 2004 or the X would be fantastic. I design and fly RC autogyros for fun. My newest design is a scale Pitcarin PCA-2. I would say it is a ".60" size model. Anyway...I have attached my handywork. Dave Attachments:

Thanks so much Bruce. I am going to clean out this laptop a little and install 2004 and X. I used to have "the golden age" and that had a Kellett autogyro. I would really like to make my Coke PCA-2 color scheme.
I have a 3D rendering program AC3D. I need to re-install it, if this is what I need.
What do you guys use to make an aircraft and or just to repaint one?

.....What do you guys use to make an aircraft and or just to repaint one? Dave That, I cannot answer, Dave. I have no idea what the boffins and wizards use to create or paint. I'm just a simple consumer! ;D I'm sure that someone here will give you all the info you need. Bruce

Welcome Dave. The Pitcairn model looks gorgeous! There is an Fs9 version from Golden Age Simulations which is very reasonably priced payware.

Well that looks really good! I am sure you'll have too much to share with us, welcome to the TOH! I am starting to get interested by the RC world. So, I'll need some advice soon. In the meatime, the Pitcairn done by our friends of Golden Age Simulations for Flight Simulator 2004 can be downloaded at their site: www.goldenagesimulations.com/pitcairn.html

Dave!
Welcome aboard!
Now, I know there are a lot of places with snow, but the pix look like our current melt. If you're anywehere near Syracuse, I'd sure use the Grandkids as an excuse to watch you (and your club?) fly!!

Welcome Dave. The Pitcairn model looks gorgeous! There is an Fs9 version from Golden Age Simulations which is very reasonably priced payware. Thanks for the kind words on my Coke gyro. I had that payware I guess eight or nine years ago. You know how computers are....one dies and you loose everything. To say the least....I bet they wont have me on file anymore. But....I buy it again! ;D They had a car that you could drive all over the island and sea boat. Cant remember if was a Catalina? PBY? Lost of lost time playing that game.

I would go with planes first and you will really need to use a lot of rudder work. That will prep you for helis. Helis are so cheap now, good to learn and again using rudder. Combining heli and plane.....that will prep you for the autogyro. The autogyro is a fickle beast. LOL! There are some good learning gyros out there. You just let me know when you are ready. Dave

Google says it's 201 miles and about 3.5 hours - that's sorta a fur piece! Probably won't be this weekend!
At least I got the state right!!!
I copied and kept the location. There's no tellin' when we may get down to that area!!!
Many thanx,

Guys....I flew it today, but it was horrible weather! Very windy and cold, but I got her in the air. Tail heavy....but I compensated with down elevator trim. The video has some funny spots....I showed all the bad things. I dont fly and act like I had no problems. Things happen. I choose not to let them get me down. ;D Enjoy! Dave vimeo.com/21237637
