Hey Vin, I have been flying in Golden Wings and just getting around to installing in FSX. I will check it out. In the meantime, bring up the engineer's panel and turn on the external power switch (left side, about half-way up, number 42 in the manual). Then go to the rights side and hit the key icon. I don't know if you have to do ctrl-e or not at that point. I 'll get right back to you.

Vin, Glad it works. I get a start with all engines running, but the "fast start" seemes to work ok from a shut down condition.
Watch your prop pitch after takeoff. Bring the pitch back to about 73%. You can click either the prop pitch lever, or the icon. Use the "status" pop-up to monitor your R-3350s (right click checklist icon). White numbers=OK. Yellow=take action. Red=start forced landing proceedures. When you get a chance, check out the manual. Take care.
Happy Landings, John

Yes John, its always Gratifying to go buy the book...with a CONNIE?..yer like a one armed paper hanger!.
.I think however ,the great Howard Hughes ,did solo this beautiful plane.,,Howard Hughes was the only airline president to personally take delivery and pilot the “Connie” airship off the production line from Lockheed. Hughes was noted for climbing aboard any unfamiliar four engine airplane, study the flight manuals, review the cockpit and emergency procedures for hours, then take off and fly it himself without incident. He was an extraordinary pilot who logged over 30,000 takeoffs and landings in his lifetime...
Loved it since 1959,when my brother ,boarded the TWA, it ,on his honey moon trip to Non stop ROMA!... Left IDLEWILD,as it was known then, soon to be JFK..fully loaded...seemed it took forever to get off...again Thanx for the memory, my friend!....Vin!

I got it the other night and it is great!! ;D
As with the others from this dedicated group, it looks and flies like the Connie it is - "One of history's most beautiful aircraft", as Bruce noted.
Thanks to the dedicated team that worked on it!!!
