That's the only way some folks will be dragged into Flight. I made the mistake of cruising the various Flight forums around the web. There are some fans but the 0.4% of the 6% are screaming so loud you can't hear the ones that like it. It amazes me that people who are smart enough to program an FMS are not smart enough to understand that Flight never was going to be and never will be FSXI. Microsoft will listen to the bulk of their customers, not a tiny fraction with delusions of grandeur.

I'm an anti as you know, because I am disappointed that simmers have given MS a pass by welcoming this game. It has a poor flight model from what I can tell. no ATIS, No AI, no atmosphere, no immersion, no TrackIR, no support for my Saitek panels. I will grant the improved graphics and FPS but with all the good bits stripped out that would be expected. Now Lockeed have reduced the price of Prepar3d I would hope to see more simmers taking up that option.

One problem for me is that it is all getting rather repetitive now. New threads are still appearing that re-iterate the dislikes and where is FS11. What is also rather odd is that a lot of folks who say they want nothing to do with Flight (and that is fine - free world - free choice) are still there in the Flight forums battering on about it. Maybe they are all secret lovers but can't bring themselves to admit it!

What I dislike most by all the negative responses, is that some people just jump on the bandwagon and have not even tried Flight. I do not mind constructive negative comments if the commenter has tried it, decided it was not for them and moved on. Sometimes I think the flight simulator community are made up of or act like a bunch of children instead of adults, which I think is the main demographic for non combat flight simulators. I have visited many a forum (not MS Flight related), where responses were in some cases just plain arrogant or mean spirited. This is why I do not even bother with the other forums for MS Flight comments and only visit this one.

Long time since I posted here so I thought would give my opinion of Flight. I have flown in it and it is okay. for me it will never replace FSX but I will fly in it when I need to get away from FSX.

You either like it or you don't, but don't make false accusations about the product until you have totally researched the product. To spend five to sixty minutes in FLIGHT doesn't qualitfiy anyone to critique it. Accept it or reject it, but remember, no one promised you your precious FSXI.

Ya have to smile. I don't like it but I have better things to do than spend all my life posting on forums about it. I'll just keep dipping into FSX and FS9 (and GW) from time to time when the urge takes me just as I have done for the last few years. It's not exactly a life changing event, is it, like getting married or having a baby or getting divorced. It's just a computer program, that's all. If people would just carry on doing what pleases them and let others do the same we'd all be the better for it I think. So nuff said as far as I'm concerned and that's the last you'll hear from me on this topic. I'll just watch quietly from the side-lines so I can keep up with what's going on because as we all know, at our age it's keeping up that's the problem Roger
