nice shots Vin! i had the chance to poke around a salamander (albeit in pieces) at the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa. I believe they had 2 at one point, one fully restored, and they traded it along with a Bristol fighter replica for a WWI fighter (the type escapes me) this was a few years back, so now they just have the lone Volksjager sitting in crates. Cheers!

Well, I don't do England much in FS9 (but lots in GW3...).
Duxford was someplace you just made it a point to get to when I was stationed in the Kaiserslautern Area of Germany (Sembach AB, Feb 77-Jul 80; Ramstein AB Aug 80-Jun 83). Didn't seem it mattered whether you were RAF or USAF, the folks treated you very well - to a flaw in some cases. Rolled out the Red Carpet even.
I couldn't find the He-162 in my installed Duxford - it may have been off flying if it's AI
What I did notice this trip - and I've had it installed since it was published last November - was the very close eye to detail the builders used. The crowds alone depict an effort of hours of love!!!
Stepher and John gave us a Herculean effort, didn't they? Shame on me for just noticing!!!
