I'm confused here, is Railworks the same as Train Simulator? The terms if they are seem interchangeable.

Railworks and Train Simulator 2013 are the same. It is confusing because RailSimulator.Com (RSC) the company that makes it bought "Rail Simulator" from Kuju and renamed it Railworks. Then they released Railworks 2. Then they released Railworks 3 and sub titled it Train Simulator 2012. The latest version was originally referred to as Railworks 4 but when it was released, it was called Train Simulator 2013. Since Microsoft Train Simulator is still popular, that confuses the issue completely so many of us still refer to the new one as Railworks. Raise your hand if I have totally confused you.

Thanks - now how about fs2004 and Fs9? just kidding :-) hahah. That still confuses me and someone used to call it ACOF. A century of Flight. It took me a while to figure out what FS-ACOF was.

So FS9 = FS2004 = FS2004-ACOF? Wow, that is confusing!
