New in TS2014 are free routes via the workshop. They are free except of course you must own some pre-requisite routes to see anything. Currently there are two of note that I recommend.
Raquette Lake Railway (Requires you own Horseshoe Curve & Marias Pass)
An 18 mile run through the forests and lakes of upstate New York Adirondack area. Route branches off the former NYC Adirondack Division at Carter Jn and terminates at Raquette Lake. The real line closed in the 1930's (and the NYC "main" line is mothballed) so this is a semi-fictional depiction representing no particular era.
Wycombe Branch (requires you own Isle of Wight, Falmouth Branch and Woodhead)
A UK steam era recreation of the line between High Wycombe and Maidenhead,
Both are nice branch line operations.

Thanks Tom....I'll have to check out the Raquette Lake as I own both the required items. However, the other I'll have to pass.
Unfortunately I'm leaving town for a couple day business trip....so will put this on hold for when I return. (smile......provided I remember)
I hadn't thought about the "Workshop"...but bet there is some good stuff there. I'll be sure to add that to my "to do" SOON list.
Cheers,
