Well....since the Christmas Sale is on......and I received a $70 gift card for "Computer" stuff (smile).....and since I don't have anything I really need right now....I went ahead and picked up the Europe Ultimate Collection, so should have many hours of train simming for this next year. I just ran the Isle of Wight route.....which I REALLY enjoyed.....so that may become a favorite "quick drive" for those evenings I don't care to spend several hours railroading. Funny thing however,......even with the sale it was much cheaper to purchase the entire collection instead of just the items on sale that make up the collection. Strange....I thought it would be cheaper to purchase individually? ?? In fact....there was a couple trains in the collection that I know I most likely will not drive....so didn't place them in the cart. The 3 or 4 things I already own....I too left out of the cart, however, when I went to check out....it would have cost me about $12 more than purchasing the Packaged Collection. I don't know....but not going to lose any sleep over it. Well....back to a little railroading before bedtime. (Smile) Cheers,

That's a nice package Steve. I like the Isle of Wight. That little tank engine is fun. I think you will like the Class 76/77 on the Woodhead Line too. Falmouth Branch is fun & Settle-Carlisle is a real challenge for a steam engine. There's a Settle clone on the Workshop that I haven't had time to examine yet set in 1975.
There is also a new cloned route by Darren Porter for Edinburgh-Glasgow on the workshop that adds some branch lines and spruces it up a bit. It has one anomaly tho', invisible platform at Sterling.
The good thing about teh workshop routes (besides being free) is they install as a separate route and don't mess up the original.

I'm anxious to try out all the routes...(smile)...but did 3 routes with the little "tank" engine.....I did enjoy it!! Thanks for the info on the workshop routes.....I didn't know that. In fact....I've somewhat shy'd away from the workshop stuff, as I don't want to mess anything up. (smile) I'd love to try out some other routes...but it's almost 11:30 and I was up VERY late last evening...so off to bed for now. Anxious to give it a whirl tomorrow though. (smile) Cheers,

I R-E-A-L-L-Y like the Isle of Wight route!!!! Not too long, and just the right amount of stops....plus it's very nicely done!!! I've only briefly tried the 77 on the Woodhead Line, however, can tell it's going to be a hit!! Cheers,
