Bruce....you inspired me. (smile)
Having now completed 2 of your 3 scenerio's, I decided to see just how difficult it is to create something.
Found a great little 15 minute video on YouTube that pretty much explains the basics at least, so thought I'd give it a go.
Well....it was nothing special......just me driving one direction with another train coming from the opposite direction....but at least I got it to work.
Now I have an idea on HOW to create something.....it will just take time to figure out how to make it better. (smile)
Thanks Partner!!!
Cheers,

Way to go, Steve!! Just dabble and then you'll find that it all comes together....and YouTube tutorials are a good place to get started. Bruce

Yes indeed....and I'm good at dabbling. (smile)
I started on Marias Pass route....however, I need to find a smaller route to start with. I can place the player train at one end of the route....but surely there is a faster way then just the keyboard "arrow" keys to get from one end to the other?
I'll have to play around with it more....but once I figure what all the buttons do, etc., it shouldn't be that hard to set trains up....just getting the timing correct will probably be the real test. (smile)

Try this Steve: Open scenario for editing Right click and press 9 to bring up the 2D map Find your desired location on the 2D map Place cursor on destination, press CTRL and left click This has modified your coordinates on the compass (top) flyout. Click the small arrow button on the lower right of the compass, then right click to exit the 2D map. You may come out at an unusable altitude. Press CTRL, Shift & Home on your keyboard to reset to ground level. Now you can move around the new location and add or edit whatever.

Steve, Do what he said! I was asleep when Tom gave you the same answer that I would have provided....only he did it much more concisely! Bruce

Steve, Do what he said! I was asleep when Tom gave you the same answer that I would have provided....only he did it much more concisely! Bruce No worries Bruce.....I have a "Special" question for you. (smile) On your 3 part Marias Pass Scenerio.....it appears that you used the SD-75 which was not part of the original scenery. How did you get it into the scenerio? Example: I'm using a small route I purchased, and was going to have a scenerio with just some switching units at work. I was planning on using the GE44 and the SW1500 switch engines, with some freights arriving and dropping off etc. It appears that since the GE44 or SW1500 is not in the original "cloned" route.....then I'm unable to add them....however, that doesn't seem correct? Geezzzzz.....this is like learning a new language. (smile) Cheers,

I figured it out......Have to go in through the World Editor!!!!
Now that I'm getting the little things figured out.....I'll have to start planning a scenerio for real. (smile)

Steve, When you are in the Scenario Editor, if you click on the little blue square that appears in the same pop-out from which you select rolling stock, locos and consists (and other things), you will then get a pop-out on the right-hand side which lists all your assets.
Run down the list to RSC. Click it and a pop-up will appear that shows all your RSC assets. There are three check-boxes adjacent each asset. Just tick the centre and right-hand ones for the asset(s) you want to add to that scenario.
