Over the past month or so after deciding that new computers that were affordable wouldn't be an improvement over my old one, I did some upgrading. I put in a new heat sink/fan apparatus that looks like a prop from the movie Metropolis. I swapped my 359 watt Power supply for a 600 watt and I increased my ram from 8 gb to 16 gb. The old girl responded well, just in time for the 64 bit upgrade to TS2019. The only glitch I found was The Springfield Line didn't like 64bit, but Michael Stephan was quick with a patch that fixed that. The best thing though is I can run the Bergen Line with AI traffic from Hoboken to Campbell Hall without an out of memory crash. I'm happy.

Congratulations Tom.....sounds like a good deal. Hmmm....TS2019? (smile) Well, I haven't been in there in a long time so I'll have to check it out of course. I see it has both the 32 bit and the 64 bit version. Did it automatically upgrade to the 64 or did you have to uninstall the old 32 bit version and re-install the 64? EDIT: Just completed the download....I see you can select which you want to run....Nice! Sounds good on your computer upgrade.....I've considered the same thing on several occasions.....perhaps this will be the season. Cheers, BTW.....Metropolis?? I've never watch it but see it's on YouTube. That too is interesting...I'll have to check it out.
