Best wishes to all and their loved ones for a fine Christmas and a splendid New Year. My sister and brother-in-law, bless them, arrived for a six-week visit on 1st December but unexpectedly had to return to the UK after ten days when she became unwell. However, I enjoyed a meal with friends last night and will be Christmas lunching with another in an hour so am far from being alone! Good friends are such a blessing.
I didn't get a lot of flying in again this past year, mainly because of the time I needed, unexpectedly, to recover from my chemo treatment that ended almost a year ago (my how time flies) but had surprisingly long term effects. However, some of what I did manage was very memorable, especially a glorious day in September. Here's a vid if you have time to watch while slumped in your armchair allowing your Christmas dinner to go down.
A Very Merry Christmas to you indeed Roger!!! Our Christmas morning is just starting. It's currently almost 6 A.M., and my wife and daughter are still fast asleep. We'll have a quite day here today and take my daughter back to her group home later this afternoon. We had to place her into a group home this year as we're both getting old. (smile) It was difficult at first....but it appears she's happy and is VERY well cared for. Thanks for the video and rest assured I will be watching it shortly.......as soon as my morning coffee is finished brewing.
Once again.....A Very Merry Christmas and I'm wishing you all the Very Best for the coming year my friend!!!!
